Transfer: PSG revive interest in Osimhen ahead of January window
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are reportedly set to reignite their pursuit of Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen during the January transfer window.
According to Corriere dello Sport, the Ligue 1 champions are keen on acquiring the 25-year-old, who is currently on loan at Turkish giants Galatasaray.
Osimhen’s contract includes a €75 million release clause, enabling him to secure a move in January.
This development follows PSG’s failed attempt to sign Osimhen during the summer transfer window.
Despite his recent muscle injury, the prolific forward remains in hot demand in the transfer market.
Osimhen has been in impressive form this season, netting 10 goals and providing five assists in 13 appearances across all competitions for Galatasaray.
His performance has bolstered his reputation as one of Europe’s top attacking talents, who has made a name for himself across any league he has played in.
