Ondo poll: Ganduje congratulates Aiyedatiwa on Election Victory

The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje has congratulated Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa on his victory in the gubernatorial election in Ondo State.

The Chairman, in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Edwin Olofu, noted that the outcome of the election is a reflection of the will of the people of Ondo State.

He added that it is a proof that the people of the state have chosen a path of progress, continuity, and development over retrogression.

Ganduje also noted that the people of Ondo have expressed their trust and confidence in the vision, leadership, and unwavering commitment of Aiyedatiwa to their well-being.

He maintained that the Governor’s victory was not just a win for the APC but a triumph for democracy and the enduring will of the people.

The two term Governor of Kano State, further stated that the victory is an attestation that Nigerians have embraced the APC as their party, and assured that the party would remain in power for a very long time.

He commended the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for conducting a transparent, credible, and peaceful election, which further consolidates Nigeria’s democratic gains.

He also lauds the security agencies and stakeholders for ensuring a conducive environment for voters to exercise their franchise freely.

Recall that Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa emerged victorious in the governorship election which held in the state on Saturday, the 16th of November 2024, beating the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
