Nigerian actress cum book author, Laide Bakare has added another feather to her cap of numerous achievements as she bags a doctorate degree.

Taking to her Instagram page, the mother of three revealed that she has been awarded an honorary doctorate degree from the American University of Peace and Governance, USA.

She disclosed that the ceremony is scheduled to take place on Saturday, November 30th at the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

Laide Bakare expressed gratitude to one Dr Jonathan Ojadah for the nomination as she expressed how honored she is to be a recipient.She wrote:

“It is with great pleasure that I acknowledge this remarkable Honor to be bestowed on me by the American University of Peace and Governance (AUPG), USA www.aupgedu.us for an Honorary Doctorate during the DOCTORAL FELLOW INVESTITURE Ceremony scheduled to take place at the University Of Lagos (UNILAG) on the 30th Of November, 2024.

Special Thanks to H. E Amb. Dr. Jonathan Ojadah @jonathanjodela for his Nomination for this great honor. I look forward to this August Occasion”.

2024 has been a year of wins for Laide Bakare who in February, bagged an appointment as the Senior Special Assistant to the Osun State Governor On Entertainment, Art, Culture, and Tourism.

Days ago, she appreciated and congratulated her principal, the Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke on his second year in office.

The actress praised the governor for his remarkable achievements in such a short period of time. Laide Bakare expressed excitement about his upcoming projects and thanked him for his dedication and hard work.
