A woman has shocked the internet after confessing that she divorced the husband she had desperately prayed and fasted for.

In a post shared on her social media page, X (formerly Twitter), she revealed that, in her previous relationship, she had prayed and fasted for a husband.

However, once her prayers were answered, she ultimately divorced him.

I divorced the husband I prayed and fasted for,” she wrote.

She further shared that during the divorce process, she fasted and prayed for 21 days to ensure it was completed quickly.

“I went in a second time, praying and fasting for the divorce to be finalized quickly. I filed on Aug 22 and only got the decree on May 24. Yhoooo,” she added.

Despite revealing the timeline, she made it clear she would never disclose the full details of her decision to divorce on social media.

“Yho ha ah, this is something I’ll probably never bring to social media in its entirety,” she said.
