Ukwa East Welcomes Eruba Dimgba Foundation with Open Arms

Yesterday, Sunday, November 17, 2024, marked a significant day for the people of Ukwa East as they joyfully received the Eruba Dimgba Foundation(EDF) at Obohia Council Hall.

The launch ceremony drew prominent leaders from Ndoki underscoring the foundation’s importance.

The Chairman of the launch,Sir Mac Wabara ably represented by Chief Willy Nwanguma, praised the initiative as “God’s agenda” and hailed Chief Dr. Eruba Dimgba as a rare gift to the people.

Wabara expressed gratitude for Dimgba’s contributions, including the rehabilitation of Akwete Azumini Road and ongoing Solar Projects in Ndoki.

“We in Ukwa East Local Government Area appreciate all you have been doing… We thank you. We pledge our 100% support to this foundation and will do our part in making it a success,” Wabara stated.

Eruba Dimgba emphasized that the foundation is non-profit, focused on empowering the underprivileged, physically challenged, poor, and those seeking quality education.

This launch follows the successful inception of the foundation in Ukwa West on November 3, 2023, at Lenzor Hotels.

The Ukwa East launch mirrored the success of its Ukwa West counterpart, attracting esteemed stakeholders and reinforcing the people’s commitment to philanthropy.
