It was a tsunami yesterday as PDP Executives and leaders from Amaitolu Mbutu Umuojima ward 2 paid a courtesy visit to Senator Nkechi Nwaogu at her residence located in Kamalu Street Aba.

Hon. Chief Ogumka Iheanacho, the ward leader, who led the executives and other leaders during the courtesy visit, in speaking on their behalf, stated that “they have joined APC and are present today to officially inform our leader, Sen. Nwaogu.”

The Ward Chairman, in his speech, stated that they are prepared to work towards the APC’s victory in the upcoming general election and pledged their loyalty to Senator Nkechi Nwaogu, whom he described as a leader par excellence.

Responding, Senator Nwaogu acknowledged the PDP Ward Executives of Amaitolu Mbutu Umuojima ward 2 for visiting her this new year and assured them that Hon. Donatus Nwankpa and she would foster a harmonious working relationship with them to drive the party’s progress.

The party executive members that defected to the APC are Hon Chikire Felix, Hon. Chief Monday Nwaobia, Hon. Merit Ihezue,Hon. Ifeanyi Ugwuzor, Patience Austine Ugor, Hon. Chief Obinna Egbufor, Chief James Eche, Amarachukwu Nwafor, Hon. Ogumka Iheanacho.
