The special Committee is to be headed by the Minority Leader, Senator Abba Moro representing Benue South Senatorial District, the Committee was further asked to review contentious areas in the proposed controversial tax reform bills and revert to the Committee of the whole.
The Committee members are, Senators Titus Zam (APC, Benue North West), Orji Uzor Kalu, Abia North, Sani Musa, APC, Niger East, and Abdullahi Yahaya, Kebbi North, among others.
In his remarks, Barau insisted that there was a need to consult stakeholders including the Attorney General of the Federation, AGF and the executive arm, to resolve disagreements surrounding the bills.
