On the last Saturday in September, TC Sterkrade 69 organized an autumn festival for the children of the athletics department. The weather cooperated and around 60 children between the ages of 4 and 15 met at the Volkspark Stadium in Sterkrade for the club championships.
With sporting ambition, the children were involved in the various disciplines
Athletics triathlon. The little athletes were able to compete with long jump, ball throw or shot put and sprint or cross-country skiing over 800 meters.

After the award ceremony for the club champions in the various age groups, everyone involved met in a good mood at the grill to satisfy their hunger. With a bit of luck, young and old could win something in the raffle that took place at the same time. At the end, all athletes received a participation certificate. The little ones received extra gifts, such as books or coloring books, to remind them of the successful autumn festival for a long time. As a thank you for their support, the hard-working helpers received warm sweaters with which they can face the cool days calmly.
