President Bola Tinubu has said his administration is committed to prioritizing the needs of Nigerians and the country’s national interest.

President Tinubu said Shettima and himself believe that the government’s policies have put the country on a positive growth trajectory.

In a series of tweets on his X handle, Tinubu, who hosted the Vice President on New Year’s Day, at his Ikoyi residence, in Lagos, commended Senator Shettima for his services to the nation.

The President explained that his government was committed to implementing sustainable policies that would endure over time and benefit all Nigerians now and in the future.

“During VP Kashim Shettima’s visit to Lagos to celebrate the New Year, we had the opportunity to engage in robust discussions about this and many other important initiatives.

“This administration remains committed to prioritizing the needs of Nigerians and our nation’s interests as we work towards strategically implementing sustainable policies that will endure over time and benefit all Nigerians, now and for generations yet unborn,” he said.

He further lauded Nigerians for their support to his government. He emphasized that the country would achieve its great potential.

“We both believe in the positive trajectory of our country and sincerely appreciate the support of all Nigerians as we join hands and work together in making Nigeria the great nation it has the potential to be,” Tinubu added.
