Serie A: Atalanta set €50m asking price for Ademola Lookman

Atalanta have reportedly valued Nigeria international Ademola Lookman at €50 million amid growing interest from top European clubs.

This is according to a report by Il Corriere dello Sport.

The 27-year-old forward was linked with a potential move to Paris Saint-Germain during the summer transfer window but ended up staying back at Atalanta.

Lookman has since justified the Serie A’s decision to retain him with exceptional performances this season, registering eight goals and five assists in 14 appearances across all competitions.

Lookman’s current contract with Atalanta runs until 2026, with the club holding an option to extend it for an additional year.

Signed from RB Leipzig for just €9.3 million in 2022, the Nigerian forward’s market value has skyrocketed due to his consistent form.
