Senate to pay tributes to late lawmaker Ifeanyi Ubah
The casket bearing the remains of the late Anambra South Senator is currently lying in state in the foyer of the White House wing of the National Assembly Complex.
Senate Leader Opeyemi Bamidele, APC – Ekiti Central, will, upon the commencement of plenary, move a motion stating: “That the Senate do now pay tributes in honour of late Senator Ubah, Patrick Ifeanyi (Anambra South) (3rd September 1971 – 26th July 2024).”
The immediate family, close relatives, friends of the deceased, and leaders from Anambra and other Southeast states are already present in the Senate awaiting the start of the plenary.
DAILY POST recalls that Senator Ubah passed away on July 27, 2024, in London at the age of 52.
