The lawmaker representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, Senator Lawal Adamu Usman, has reportedly escaped an assassination attempt in Kaduna State Newsmirror reports.

Usman, a member of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), disclosed the incident in a Facebook post on Wednesday night, January 1, 2025.

“I just escaped an assassination attempt by some thugs in Kaduna North,” he wrote, without providing further details about the attack or the suspects involved.
