Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide (Youth Wing) ably led by Mazi Chukwuma Opkalaezeukwu, felicitate with our indifatigible Leader and President General, Distinguished Sen John Azuta MBATA, on his emergence as the 13th President General.

Sen John Azuta MBATA, was a Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, representing Rivers East Senatorial District in 1999-2007. His exemplary leadership qualities stood him out as a shining star in the firmament of other galaxy of stars.

In a statement signed by the Spokesman of the youth wing,Mazi Chika Art Adiele, described Sen John Azuta MBATA as a ” a great leader with the finest character and a gentleman who loves and always proud to be identified as a bonafide nwafor Igbo in Rivers State and beyond”. The Igbo Youths ably led by Mazi Chukwuma Opkalaezeukwu, who was also unanimously chosen and overwhelmingly elected on the 7th day of January as the President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo (Anambra State Chapter)is highly elated that the emergence of Mazi Sen John Azuta MBATA, will usher in sustainable and progressive developmental trajectory in Ala Igbo.

Similarly, the National Vice of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide, Mazi Wenceslaus Ogbonnia (Youth Wing), also described, Sen John Azuta MBATA, as meritorious, well deserved and the best Man to lead Ndigbo into the promise land. The National Vice, who could not contain his joy, described Sen John Azuta MBATA’s election, underscores our collective quest to support a competent, and full blooded Igbo son of Ikwere extraction who will be generally accepted by the great Igbos in Rivers State.

It is our prayers that Sen John Azuta MBATA will live in sound health to discharging this sacred mandate and sustain the legacies of our forebearers like, late Sen Obi Wali, Chief Emmanuel Aguma, Chief Jackson Mpi and HRM Eze C.C. Nwuche.
