NPFL: Oyo FA bans supporter from watching Shooting Stars home games
The Oyo State Football Association has banned Olalekan Ojo from watching Shooting Stars home games due to his poor conduct.
Ojo’s suspension was announced in a press release on Sunday.
The Secretary of the Football Association, Kehinde Ojelowo stated that Ojo’s ban will be extended to other stadiums in the state.
The Notification of Suspension reads,”Consequent upon your unsporting behaviour exhibited immediately after 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League, matchday 13 , with Match number 128 between Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Ibadan and Bayelsa United Football Club, Yenagoa on Sunday, 24th November, 2025, which nearly bring the game of football to disrepute.
“I’m hereby directed by the Oyo State Football Association to inform you that, you have been suspended indefinitely from watching any 3SC match or entering all the stadia in the state.
“You are hereby informed to kindly adhere strictly to this suspension order,failure which will result to your arrest by law enforcement agent.”
Anthony Okachi’s goal was enough to secure the maximum points for Shooting Stars in the game.
