Nigerians tired, will change govt in 2027 — Kwankwaso

The presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) in last year’s election, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has received scores of the All Progressives Congress (APC) members into his party. 

The former Kano governor received the defectors who were APC members from Dala, Kiru and Gwale local government areas at his residence in Kano.

He expressed optimism that with the current “hardship” in the country, Nigerians will effect a change of government in the 2027 general elections. 

He said, “Nigerians and specifically northerners have suffered enough, stressing that “No amount of pressure or intimidation will change their minds.”

He said, “Nigerians should have a rethink over the current dispensation. It has now become clear that the APC-led government is clearly against the poor masses and will never change.”
