Nigerian singer and CEO of Marlian music record label, Azeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley, has received some backlashes amidst of continuous rift between Ayodeji ‘Wizkid’ Balogun and David ‘Davido’ Adeleke.

Davido and Wizkid became trending conversations online after the latter publicly discredit Davido’s music career and his entire family. He went to the extent of laying heavy curses on the ‘Unavailable’ crooner.

This sparked outrage online as fans began to pick sides, throwing shades online.

While many Nigerian celebrities and media personalities like Samklef, OAP Do2dtun, Portable, Joey Akan, Daniel Regha, weighed into the singers’ rift, Naira Marley’s comments caused outbursts online.

The ‘Soapy’ hitmaker has been in the black book of social media users since the controversial death of his ex-Marlian signee, Mohbad. Many accused him of having hand in the tragic passing of Mohbad.

In his recent post online, Naira Marley preached patience to Wizkid and Davido.

He wrote, “Patience is power and it’s all on God.”
