A social media user, identified as @folaby_ on X, shared an intriguing experience with a lady friend during a recent outing.

According to his post, they had agreed on a budget of ₦70,000 for the outing. However, after spending slightly over ₦50,000, the unexpected happened—his female friend requested the remaining budget balance.

He wrote:
“Went out with a female friend about 3 days ago. I told her before the outing that the budget was 70k and she was cool with it. We spent a little above 50k, and it was time to go. She told me to send her the rest of the money since we didn’t spend up to the budget.”

Explaining his rationale for setting the budget, @folaby_ added:
“Told her budget to be safe, things don cost, and the country is bad, you can’t blame me. What if she ordered more than I could afford? Oh please.”
