Nigerian disc jockey and philanthropist, Florence Ifeoluwa Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up on her personal growth following the departure of certain individuals from her life.

Taking to her Instagram story, DJ Cuppy emphasized the importance of distancing oneself from people who may not be beneficial.

She described this as a form of “fasting,” highlighting that not everyone is meant to remain in one’s life.

“I’ve removed certain people from my life, or they left me… it was scary at first, but honestly, I feel like I’ve progressed so much because of it,” she stated.

The billionaire heiress further stressed the significance of protecting one’s peace, adding that it is not an act of selfishness but a necessity for personal development.

This is not the first time DJ Cuppy has spoken about the influence of one’s social circle.

She previously advised her followers to be mindful of the people they surround themselves with, sharing a photo featuring billionaire businessman Aliko Dangote and former UN Deputy Secretary-General Amina Mohammed.
