GTCO dispels news reports against business activities, management
The Guarantee Trust Company (GTCO) has dispelled what it called false news reports about its business activities, results and management.
According to the statement, the false news articles were baseless and emanated from groups out to discredit the financial institution.
The company, in a statement by its Head, Group Corporate Communication, Oyinade Adegite, said it had taken swift and decisive legal actions against the various sources of the reports, and would continue to use the full extent of the rule of law available to safeguard its reputation.
The statement also urged customers and stakeholders of the bank to disregard allegations peddled, assuring that all members of the executive management team will continue to operate in their full capacities as appointed and are not under any financial or regulatory scrutiny as alleged.
