Benue PDP set for hitch-free congress Thursday – Ortom
The Leader of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP in Benue State, Chief Samuel Ortom says the party has concluded arrangements for the smooth conduct of its state congress scheduled for Thursday, October 3, 2024.
The former governor gave the assurance on Wednesday in a statement by his media aide, Terver Akase.
Contrary to reports making the rounds, Ortom clarified that there “is currently no court order” prohibiting the State Congress of the party.
He urged the public to disregard the mischief and misleading information being peddled in town by a few persons.
Chief Ortom restated the commitment of the party’s leadership in the state to uphold its values and principles at all times.
