BBNaija: Kassia recounts struggle of avoiding physical touch with husband

Ex-BBNaija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate, Kassia reveals the difficulty of maintaining distance from her husband, Kellyrae, while on the show.

Kassia, who was recently evicted from the show, admitted in a post-eviction interview with Pulse that withholding physical affection from her real-life husband, was one of the toughest aspects of their strategy.

According to Kassia, the couple deliberately decided to hide their marital status from the other housemates as part of their game plan, adding a layer of complexity to their stay in the house.

She explained that her natural inclination for physical touch, one of her love languages, made it especially challenging to pretend to be single.

“It [withholding myself from being physical with my husband] was difficult because one of my love languages is physical touch. And I was restricted from doing all of that,” she said.

“But Victoria actually helped me. You all saw the way I was always hugging her. She was my comfort zone,” she stated.

Notably, Kassia shared that her close friendship with fellow housemate Victoria was crucial in helping her cope with the emotional strain of being apart from Kellyrae in that way. Victoria’s presence provided her emotional support, helping her maintain composure and focus throughout the competition.
