Aba Power Limited has announced an adjustment in electricity tariffs following an approval from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC). The new rates are set to take effect on January 1, 2025.

According to a statement from the power distribution company, the adjustment aims to address the impact of recent macroeconomic challenges on its operations while ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to customers.

The decision follows extensive public consultations during the Customers’ Forum held in late 2024, where stakeholders discussed the proposed changes.

The company expressed gratitude to its customers for their understanding and cooperation as it navigates this period of economic adjustment.
